The Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Brushstroke” is a creative look for Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe in its low-top silhouette that culls design inspiration from artists. The “Brushstroke” colorway also appears on the Air Jordan 1 Mid, as well, and was one of the most popular styles for the Jordan 1 in 2021. The upper combines Sail-colored canvas and leather on the toe and mid-panel, and overlays, respectively. Each panel displays multicolor paint speckles. A black Swoosh appears on the sides in a brushstroke-style design and a classic “Wings” logo is embroidered on the heel. Other details include a black Jumpman with “Air” branding on the tongue, a cream-colored rubber midsole, and black outsole.

I use these composite toe safety shoes at work. I spend most of the day on my feet on concrete, the memory foam keeps my feet feeling good. The ANSI rating is high enough for the work I do and the composite toe vs steel toe is a much lighter shoe. I order my work shoes from Amazon exclusively and Skechers maintains a consistency in their sizing that makes this an easy choice.

One summer my shoes were my main mode of transportation. In my other shoes I put about 30 - 40 miles of walking per week. Eventually I developed a chronic pain in my left foot. I got these shoes and they helped so much. They really relieved alot of the pain. I'm now convinced that memory foam insoles are best when choosing a shoe on which you want to walk many steps.

These "classic" shoes comes in a variety of color combinations. But the main thing about them is how comfortable they are. Thick "cushy" sole. . . Nice padding both on the footbed and around the ankle. Nice non-skid tread. Nice pull-on tab in the back. There's lots to like about these shoes. . . . Especially if you can get them on the current lower-end of the price range.

I still have these shoes and wear them on the regular. I can't wear them when it's wet outside because water gets in, and I had to glue the bottoms onto the shoes as it was starting to come off at the heels. They are dirty, but still very wearable. I think it's time for a fresh pair though, I find myself wearing other shoes more and more as these get older and older. Well worth the purchase though!

Almost a year later and I still wear them. Usually the loops will break, but no issues yet. I did replace the laces, I wanted a different color (neon green). Fit as expected. I may buy another pair if I can get them at a good price.
