The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Black/White” is one of two debut colorways of the hybrid silhouette that combines elements of Nike’s VaporMax and Waffle Racer runners. A Fall 2020 release, the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle in the “Black/White” offering continues the high fashion house’s “double-layered” approach that essentially does everything in “twos.” This includes two Swooshes on either side of the black mesh mid-panel, black and white shoelaces, and a mesh and nylon stacked tongue with dual sacai and Nike detailing on the nylon tongue tag. The stealthy appearance of the shoe is enhanced by the black suede detailing on the eyelets, toe, and heel. Dual sacai and Nike insignia appear in black text on the white leather heel tab. The look is finished off with a stacked midsole that splits at the heel. Release date: Fall 2020.
