Nike delivered a celebratory Latino Heritage Month collection (aka the "Los Primeros" Pack) in 2017, comprised of the Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1, Air Max 1 and Cortez. Each pair is dynamically designed in collaboration with local street artist from Latin America; one shoe released weekly during the stretch of the holiday, between September 15th and October 15th. Here is the Air Max 1, designed by Wasafu with a focus on migration – an integral part of the Latin culture for centuries (like most other cultures). The look is an offshoot of the OG colorway, with graphics appearing throughout the upper.
