The Air Jordan 1 KO “Chicago” is a May 2021 release of an original colorway of the silhouette based on Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. Roughly a year after the Jordan 1 made its debut in 1985, Nike released the Air Jordan 1 KO or “AJKO,” for short. The then-new design featured a canvas construction instead of leather like the original Jordan 1. Moreover, the AJKO was seen as a more inclusive version of the shoe, although Nike has never gone into much detail as to why it reconstructed and renamed the model so closely after releasing the original Jordan 1. As for the design, Varsity Red canvas appears on the toe, forefoot, eyelets, and collar. White canvas is used as the base and a black leather Swoosh appears on either side. The AJKO features a “Wings” logo on the ankle and a Nike logo on the tongue tag. The “Chicago” AJKO dons a white nylon tongue. A cream rubber midsole and red outsole complete the look. Super lightweight shoes with soft cushion soles. Literally the lightest lace up shoes I have ever worn. Very comfortable and airy. Woven upper lets feet breathe, but will let in dew to soak feet. Only real downside is the shoelaces that came with shoes are way too long and drape across the feet to touch the walking surface. Otherwise a great casual shoe

I've been wearing New Balance cross-trainers for years. They've always been great. These hiking shoes continue that experience.

I bought these hoping for some additional ankle support. Though concerned about the fit and not trying them on, I matched the size of my NB cross-trainers, and hoped for the best. No surprise, they fit just fine.

Looking at them you can tell these are not the typical/traditional heavy hiking boots. They're more of a slightly stiffer high-top sport shoe. Like a sport shoe, they are much lighter than a more traditional boot. They do provide good ankle support, and have a little bit more cushioning than a sport shoe in the sole and ankles. The soles, though Vibram, are also more like a sneaker sole, but seem to provide a very good grip.

All in all, I like 'em.

Again another comfortable shoe by New balance, size 13 fit perfect. I'm very stylish shoe. Lightweight. I've only had one pair of New balance shoes that actually were absolutely horrible I returned them. But all other 15 pairs including this one are dynamite.

I wore these all summer/ fall and they still look great- far better than I expected. The leather is a good quality and holds up to rain and lots of wear. I use a custom foot bed for added arch support.

I ordered these for me, but they were claimed by my teenage daughter. I wear a women's size 10W shoe. My daughter wears a women's 9. These fit me, but they were not as roomy as I expected since they are men's 9. They are a little big on my daughter, as expected, but not that much either. So they are running a little smaller than anticipated. I have another pair of Cloudfoam shoes and these are not as soft and comfortable as the other pair. For that reason, I wasn't too disappointed that my daughter took them. They do have a foam inset, but it's not as squishy as my other. It also doesn't have the arch support that the other pair has. They are really nice looking and well made. Other than the sizing, they are what I would expect from the adidas brand.
