The Nike Dunk Low “Goldenrod” is an original colorway of the classic low-top shoe that debuted back in 1985 as part of the college basketball-inspired “Be True to Your School” collection. Also known as the “Varsity Maize” and “Iowa” Dunk Low, the “Goldenrod” is a timeless, two-tone, black and yellow colorway of the vintage basketball shoe that also inspired the coveted, unreleased “Wu-Tang” Dunk High from 1999. Here, the “Goldenrod” features black leather on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel and collar. Contrasting Goldenrod-colored leather panels and Swoosh branding draw eyes to the shoe. On the heel, old school-inspired “Nike” detailing is embroidered in black lettering. A Goldenrod “Nike” logo is printed alongside a Swoosh insignia on the black nylon tongue tag on the black nylon tongue. A white midsole and yellow rubber outsole complete the look. Appear to be made well with decent cushion support inside, and not heavy on the feet. Standing and walking for hours at my job has made my feet wide. Sometimes even wide shoes have boxy front giving my toes no room and constant rubbing as I walk. Not with these shoes. So far as I walk in the city haven't felt any issues wearing these. Five stars for getting it right! I'd buy again.

These shoes are very stylish. I think they look great with jeans or with khakis. They are also pretty comfortable. I have only had them for a week, so I cannot attest to the durability, that is really my only concern. Since they are pretty cheap, I went ahead and bought a backup pair just in case!

Husband thought I was nuts to order these for him. But I forced him to pull them on (they don't tie) and after walking around for 10 minutes he said he really thought they are comfortable and cushion his walk on our hard tile floors.

These are a medium brown color shoe that definitely qualify as a “sneaker” type shoe. They have what I’d call gum soles, but with a zig zag pattern for traction. Above the bottom, between the bottom and the upper is a cream white border around the entire shoe that is about 3/4 inch in height. The leather upper is a soft type leather that I do believe would get even softer with wear and break in, but even right out of the box, are pretty soft and comfortable. They do fit well for the size. The shoes come with two sets of laces, one that are a reddish-brown solid color, and the others are a brown/white two tone for styling. These are a mid-cut shoe that have good padding around the entry. These are very nice shoes that will be just the ticket for winter casual when you don’t want to wear regular runners or trainers.
