I am a huge Chuck fan - BUT I have flat feet, and can wear them comfortably. My husband and daughter cannot. I feel like most people that wear Chucks do so because they want to make a "fashion statement" at the cost of their feet... I just need them for my flat feet - and thus every 10-12 months I order a pair of Black Chuck Taylors, works for me!

bought these to assist in walking ,,,have a badhip and needed some cushion when walking these do the trick,,,take the harshness out of walking on concrete sidewalks

Really nice shoes, surprising detail and new shine. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the brownish sole (actually sort of an odd version of brown) on black shoes, but the shoes still look great overall. They come with high end extras, like the stick inside the shoe to keep its shape, and a nice shoe bag - better than most of the ones you might get from hotels.

I couldn't find these in Academy Sports any longer. I found them on Amazon. I love these for Casual use. Goes great with Jeans or Slacks...I hate dress shoes.

If you’re looking for an extra wide shoe this is it. Easy slip on elastic fabric let’s your foot in and keeps it in without worrying you’ll walk out of it. True to size heel to toe. Love the width for my pancake feet. Very cushiony like walking on a mattress. Hopefully it will last. As a slip on, the fabric is very breathable which helps keep my feet cool or at least not as hot and sweaty as a traditional sneaker. Very happy with my purchase.

I like the shoes. They're a little stiff at first because of the thick, rigid soles, but that will work for me as I walk at least 100 miles per week, so I'm looking for durability. I'll break them in slowly to avoid foot problems. I expect these to be my winter walking shoes.

Good foot and arch support, which I need, because my feet were surgically repaired years ago and I have lots of foot problems.
