Similar to how the “Midnight Navy” retro from 2016 was approached, Jordan Brand provides a history lesson on the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette with the rerelease of a less familiar original colorway from 1985. Enter the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Metallic Red”. This shoe features a premium white leather upper with Varsity Red accents appearing throughout. Patent leather with a metallic look coats the ankle collar and Swoosh. The traditional "Wings" logo has its traditional resting place on the ankle. These sneakers are super fun!!!
Very bright colors, very unique.
They fit true to size.
They are a little, but little, heavy. But because they are sturdy and well made. They don’t look chunky, but they have more “body”.
They are not super padded, they are comfortables, but definitely not Disney walking shoes. They are pretty similar to my Metcons.
But, for casual wear, these are VERY nice and fun!!!!

I find Chucks too narrow and uncomfortable. These have a bit more width across the area of the ball of the foot, and that makes a tremendous difference in fit and comfort.

Plus the insoles really do add extra padding and support, and they do shift your weight to the outside of the foot, making them comfortable to wear for much longer.

And of course it's great to have on a pair of P. F. Flyers again!

These shoes were given to a tween age boy. He was anti-croc and needed new shoes. He found these shoes well fitting and comfortable. They are attractive too. He's wearing them to school everyday.

I like the shoes. They're a little stiff at first because of the thick, rigid soles, but that will work for me as I walk at least 100 miles per week, so I'm looking for durability. I'll break them in slowly to avoid foot problems. I expect these to be my winter walking shoes.

Good foot and arch support, which I need, because my feet were surgically repaired years ago and I have lots of foot problems.
