The Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex Berry is a colorful look for the modified Jordan 1 with a weatherproof design. The Jordan 1 Element gives the retro basketball shoe a rugged makeover designed to withstand the elements, including harsh weather conditions. A Gore-Tex membrane lines the upper, with overlays on the toe cap, forefoot, and eyelets appearing in Berry-colored leather. The look is contrasted by a lighter purple nylon on the perforated toe and mid-panel. A black reflective Swoosh is found on the sides and a black Wings logo appears on the collar. Gore-Tex branding is printed on the lateral side of the heel. Overall, a really great shoe. My feet are always getting hot, and these shoes provide great ventilation. They're light and easy to put on. Even so, they seem sturdy. I've been wearing them every day for a few weeks, (walking around, biking, etc.) and they haven't worn down more than any other shoe I've had.

I do think the laces seem a little weak, which is the only thing keeping these shoes from being a 5 star purchase. It's probably worth buying a new pair of laces and doing them up yourself.

I got these shoes to spice up my image a bit at the office, and hey, they’re nice! One remark I’d make is that they are breathable, so what color socks you wear under them makes a small difference. Good time to accessorize!

These seem to be a bit larger than what I'm used to for a 9 1/2 but my foot is so wide they don't movemuch. It's hard finding a dope pair of 4E's and these fit the bill so they get the top rating from me.

These shoes are carefully packaged for shipping. Each shoe is individually wrapped to hinder any marring or scuffing. The first thing we noticed when we lifted the lid, was the smell of leather. It reminded us of the days when every shoe had that genuine smell. These shoes fit the bill for that casual but dressy occasions. The fit is very comfortable and true to size. Everything appears to be very well made. The craftsmanship is impeccable.

These shoes are amazing. I remembered my dad wearing these circa 1970. So, when I was looking for a Vans alternative, I thought I'd give them a try. I think I even had the kids version, but it might have been a different model. I am so glad I bought them. They are very basic, but that's all you need. I even bought a second pair in another color.
Most people would be a lot better off if they would just wear simple flat shoes like these without artificial arch support. I started wearing these about 5 days a week and my daily foot cramps are gone and my periodic plantar fasciitis has not returned.
As an added bonus, these stay good looking as I think the canvas is treated with something that repels water, etc. It makes them a bit warm at times, but it really seems to extend the time that they look good.
