The Nike Dunk Low “Free 99 - Black” is the black-based colorway of the venerable low-top shoe from Nike’s “Free 99” pack. The two-pack was released by Nike in Spring 2021 and features the iconic Dunk dressed in an Easter-adjacent colorway that includes soft pastel leather panels arranged in a mismatching color block. Yellow, blue, pink, and green pastels highlight the overlays on the toe cap, forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel on both the left and right shoe. A Dark Chocolate leather Swoosh appears on the mid-panel of both pairs and “Nike” is embroidered on the mismatched leather heel tabs. “Nike” detailing with a Swoosh can be found on the green and blue nylon tongue tag of the left and right shoe, respectively. The undefeated combination of a white rubber midsole and contrasting gum outsole completes the look. Release date: Spring 2021.

These shoes are absolutely incredible. They came in one day they fit perfectly, and they are the most comfy shoes that I’ve ever owned. The leather on them is a bit shiny so they look really new and modern and they’re really light so you’re able to stand on your feet all day walk around and they’re really comfy. Puma's are nice shoes that always fit me great. They're also easy to find on sale, which makes them the price/performance king. They look quite nice, as well!

I purchased these to replace some Nike Sweet's that were a little too big for me. I think the Nike Sweet is a nicer shoe (more padding and softer, thicker leather, etc), but they also cost more. These Puma's are tagged the same size as the Nike's, but they run a little smaller (the footprint does appear a little wider, though). I own several pairs of Puma Suede's and these run about the same size as the Suede does.

Even though I think the Nike Sweet is a better made shoe, there's something about these that I just like better. For one, I think they look better and I'm just more comfortable in them. I wore the Sweet regularly as a kid, back when Nike originally released them, so that's why I purchased them first. When they didn't fit, I purchased the Match 74 to replace them and I couldn't be happier with them.
