The Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High “Banshee” is a limited edition collaboration between the Japanese anime franchise and Nike SB nicknamed “Project Unicorn.” The “Banshee” is one of two colorways included in the collaboration, with the inspiration behind both designs being “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn,” a novel within the Gundam universe. Each shoe adopts a design from the RX-0 and Banshee Norn Destroy Mode suits. The detachable Swoosh and design of the toe box mimics elements of the Banshee suit. Elsewhere, “Project Unicorn” insignia can be found on the heel. Each panel is outlined in red and black leather appears on the collar. A sheet of details accompanies the shoe. Decent shoe, fits well, easy to get on and off and cute if you like the Converse look. Not great for extended walking. If you’ve got an all-day trip planned to the amusement park or some extended in-store Christmas shopping to do then I recommend something with more support.

Having worn 574s for about 15 years I was interested to try the 373. The main difference is in the overall bulk of the shoe. The 373 is much more form fitting with a slightly lower ankle and slightly thinner sole. Comfort is comparable in both shoes, but from a fashion point of view they compliment clothes differently. The 373 I wear with slimmer jeans that have smaller cuffs, which I still prefer the 574 when wearing a boot cut jean or shorts.

I have big feet and these shoes are nice, light, soft. My only complaint is they are a little narrow. Setting shoe tree in them now to make a bit wider, or just more use should do it, otherwise 5 stars.

Shoes are for my husband who wears a size 14 and has a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable and fit well. He loves these Skechers and has had them on since they arrived. He's breaking them in for a trip we are taking in the Spring and no doubt they will serve him well.
