The Women’s Nike Dunk High “Sail/Gum” is a women’s-exclusive colorway of the vintage basketball and lifestyle shoe by Nike arranged in a classic, two-tone style. Endlessly wearable, the “Sail/Gum” version of the Dunk High for women features white leather on the perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel. Sail-colored overlays and Swoosh branding on both sides forms a low contrast with the aforementioned white leather base. The laces and “Nike” branded tongue tag both appear in Sail. I have given most of my other shoes away in favor of these Kizik shoes - I now have three pair. I was always having problems bending down to put shoes on and tie the laces - that is no longer a problem, as these shoes slip on and fit firmly for lots of walking! Kizik was the first to come out with “slip on” and they did it right, as the backs snap back up tightly. Lots of copy-cats out there - I’ll stick with Kiziks! Did I mention comfort? My most comfortable, supportive shoes, too.

I bought these for my grandson as my daughter loves "Vans"... and I wanted my grandson to begin to learn about tieing his shoes. Most of his shoes have velcro closures or are slip ons. Also, he loves The Blues Brothers (the edited version) and I bought him an "Elwood" costume (black suit, white shirt, skinny tie, sunglasses and fedora) and thought these rounded out the costume perfectly. They are a wee bit large on him just yet so I expect he'll grow into them quickly.

I can see why this shoe is the price that it is. For one its amazingly durable, I walk on sharp rocks where Timberlands have gotten torn the first week i had it. I tripped over a nail sticking out of the deck at night. I though my shoe would of been ruin, torn, or at least a noticeable mark on the shoe. As of my surprise it looked like nothing happen. The shoe is very well made with quality material. I'm a size 9 but i wish i would of order the 8-8.5 size. This is a european company. They cater more in the european size. I would get a size smaller. I can't wait to get another ecco but the next time around it will be 8-8.5 size.
