In 2018 Vogue and Jordan Brand teamed up for a collaboration that bridged the worlds of sneakers and high fashion. The headlining piece of the collection is this Vogue x Air Jordan 1 Zip AWOK for women. The stunning take on the iconic silhouette features a premium leather upper with a zipper replacing the usual laces for a clean and glamorous aesthetic worthy of the esteemed fashion magazine. The Jordan 1s have a hangtag that reads “Edited by Vogue,” and each pair also features Anna Wintour’s famous “AWOK” (“Anna Wintour OK”) sign-off visible within the clear outsole. The Vogue x Air Jordan 1 was created in two tonal colorways. For this “Sail” edition, an off-white shade covers the soft leather upper and is accented with red detailing. They are not amazing quality as you might expect for this price. IF you buy the right size, they are great shoes. They get dirty very quickly but that's with any white shoe made of canvas type material. If you buy half a size too small as I did, the tightness may damage the shoes a bit faster. They are holding up so far after about 3 months, but are not that clean anymore. I have started seeing some sole damage. The sole grip isn't great either.

This is the first pair of Saucony shoes I've ever owned and I'm very pleased. I've typically worn the heavy, suede, New Balance 564 fora retro running shoe, but wanted something lighter. The low profile sole is more reminiscent of Onitsuka Tiger shoes, which are also a favorite of mine.

Unlike the Asics shoes, these have a more traditional running shoe style. As vegan shoes, I don't expect them to last long and I'm not expecting a great athletic shoe, because vegan shoes never are, imo. They're very comfortable shoes, although I'd still give the edge to Onitsuka Tigers in that regard. I am slightly worried that they don't breathe well, due to an inner sock lining that covers the entire inside, but that's not a huge factor for me.

The fit is just great for me, but I have somewhat narrow feet. These do run narrow, especially in comparison to the 564, which is wide even in standard widths. My most common athletic shoe sizes are 10.5-11 and I purchased these in a perfect 10.5. For the sake of comparison, I typically wear an 11 in Nike, 10.5 in Onitsuka Tiger and have recently had to size up to an 11.5 in New Balance.

In closing, I'll note that they come with 2 sets of laces in different colors, even though I saw no mention of this anywhere. I ordered them in Navy, and in addition to the Navy laces shown, they also included some in cream that match the stripe. I was actually hoping they would do that and will probably use the cream colored laces.

These shoes are very stylish. I think they look great with jeans or with khakis. They are also pretty comfortable. I have only had them for a week, so I cannot attest to the durability, that is really my only concern. Since they are pretty cheap, I went ahead and bought a backup pair just in case!

I always buy my shoes extra wide. I've bought many New Balance shoes in the 4E. These are marked and tagged 4E, however when I put them on, they are not as wide as any other wide shoe I've bought. I'm hoping that they'll break in a bit (likely) and I love the way they look. So I'll keep them.

These are a medium brown color shoe that definitely qualify as a “sneaker” type shoe. They have what I’d call gum soles, but with a zig zag pattern for traction. Above the bottom, between the bottom and the upper is a cream white border around the entire shoe that is about 3/4 inch in height. The leather upper is a soft type leather that I do believe would get even softer with wear and break in, but even right out of the box, are pretty soft and comfortable. They do fit well for the size. The shoes come with two sets of laces, one that are a reddish-brown solid color, and the others are a brown/white two tone for styling. These are a mid-cut shoe that have good padding around the entry. These are very nice shoes that will be just the ticket for winter casual when you don’t want to wear regular runners or trainers.

At the time of this review, I have only worn these sneakers about 4 days so far, but so far they appear quite comfortable and the fit seems true to what is advertised.

I work retail, so I am on my feet/on the go for a majority of 8-10 hours a day on concrete floors, and these shoes offer ample support and cushioning throughout the day.

So far, these appear to be excellent shoes. I will revisit this review in about 3 months time to see how well they hold up to daily use, and update accordingly.
