The sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Black Nylon” is an all-black-everything take on the fusion design from the Japanese fashion label. Combining elements from both the Nike Waffle Racer and the LDV, two vintage running shoes, sacai produced the unique LDWaffle silhouette that features a layered black nylon tongue, double black leather Swooshes on the mid-panel and a stacked black rubber midsole. An airy black mesh base appears on the mid-panel and toe allowing for unrestricted airflow throughout the design. Soft black suede covers the toe and lateral panel, while a black nubuck heel cup sit atop an extended midsole. Completing the look of this stealthy sneaker is a black outsole. I bought these in Jan of 2017 and still wear the same pair (replaced the insole) two years later. add some lacelock's and these are the perfect shoe for EMS. The no slip soles are one if their best features. as a 300lbs gorilla-esque mass of humanity even i can be surefooted standing on the roof of a car or an oil slick road in the pouring rain. seriously, these things take everything except ice. it also has a steel toe which comes in handy. my only problem was that the plastic insert in the heel disintegrated about 1.5 years into owning them, which is a good run considering these were worn 80+ hours a week on a truck that averaged 7 calls in a 12 hour shift, but then i had to cut the fabric in the heel and manually extract the millions of tiny pieces.

No laces of course, so these are not suitable for a trail hike, but they are light and comfortable and great for walking around town. This is my third pair.

I LOVE THESE! I was looking for something I could wear for workouts at home that weren’t heavy or bulky like my sneakers, but that had some support and traction. These were PERFECT! The men’s were the only ones I could find solid black in, so that’s why I got those over women’s. I guessed at the size, I’m normally an 11 or 11 1/2 in women’s and got a large, and they fit but still have a little bit of extra room, but it hasn’t bothered me. I’ve also used them at work a couple times when my work shoes were bothering my feet but I needed something, and these totally worked! Great product!

A good pair of hiking boots, but not as good as 'Red Wing or Fyre boots'! I have found them to be somewhat , uncomfortable & prefer my more comfortable 'Combat Boots'!
