The Nike Air Max 90 “Animal Pack - Violet Blend” features a stunning mixture of exotic faux animal prints for a radically new and exciting colorway for the venerable performance runner. Nike’s Air Max 90 is undoubtedly one of the most successful silhouettes in the brand’s history. While designs of the Air Max 90 tend to feature casual colorways that underscore the model’s performance-based traits, this “Violet Blend” makeup veers in the direction of the lifestyle footwear space. The upper features black pony hair on the toe and deep purple croc-textured leather on the mudguard. A lighter shade of purple ostrich leather appears on the overlay located on the mid-panel. Tonal suede Swoosh detailing can be found on either side. I bought these for my boyfriend on his birthday. He really likes Converse and thought it would be a good gift. He says that they fit fine and are comfortable to walk around in.

I wear a women's size 11 USA. The chart that displays the size ratio of Converse men's to women's says a men's 8 equals a woman's 10. I read the previous reviews about how these shoes run large so I opted for the size 8 men's and they are actually a little long. The width is o.k. but I wish they were a quarter of an inch or so shorter, but they still fit well enough. I have a pair of Converse shoes just like these except white, and underneath the tongue it says it's a men's 8 and they fit perfectly so I was a little surprised that these were on the long side. I've always loved the classic Converse tennis shoe whether it's a high top or low top. I recently purchased the black low top and like I said earlier, it fits well enough except for being a little too long in the toe. The good thing about that though, is that I'll never have to worry about my toes getting crunched when walking down steep inclines.

I don't know about men's sizes, but if you are buying a pair of these shoes for a woman, it might be a real good idea to go down a size from what she normally wears in other shoes.

I've been running with New Balance shoes for years and found them to be the best. What I didn't realize is that they make such comfortable shoes for everyday wear. I spend a lot of time standing and walking on my job; I also have plantar fasciitis due to high arch and physical stress on my feet. I've tried pretty much everything from running shoes to walking shoes, as well as hi-end Clark's, and different arch supports. NB 801 are by far the most comfortable. They provide outstanding cushioning and support; you can easily slip them off for few minutes, and they look well-made. For the first time in years my fasciitis is not aggravated after hours of standing. I will get a second pair for traveling.

I bought some water shoes through Lands' End years ago, and their inside, next-to-the-skin portion was not nearly as smooth and comfortable as these shoes, but the construction and basic principle is the same.

These water shoes have a firm, rubber sole to protect the feet from rough ground, and they have a good grip on slippery rocks to prevent falls. These are closed-toe shoes, which means they also protect the top part of your feet and your toes.

They look, from a distance, as if they are just regular athletic shoes. However, unlike most athletic shoes, they do not use tie laces. Instead, they have an adjustible "bungee tie" system, which means your shoes will not come untied, and you can slip these shoes on and off and still have the shoe feel securely fastened.

These shoes have holes for draining water and a mesh construction on the upper part which both releases water and dries quickly when you return to land. Note that these shoes are "water ready" but not waterproof. They will definitely get wet.

As to size, if you will for some reason be wearing socks, then you might want to go up a half size from your normal size. These shoes are meant to be worn without socks.

These shoes would be perfect for wading in the ocean or a river or stream. They would be great for rafting, inner-tubing, or boating in general.

The color is a masculine charcoal with yellow trim, and they are technically made for men. However, if a woman knows her comparable size in men's shoes, I don't see why a woman could not wear these as well.

The price is rather steep for what these are, and that might give some people pause. I'd recommend shopping around and comparing prices before you decide on these.
