The sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Black Nylon” is an all-black-everything take on the fusion design from the Japanese fashion label. Combining elements from both the Nike Waffle Racer and the LDV, two vintage running shoes, sacai produced the unique LDWaffle silhouette that features a layered black nylon tongue, double black leather Swooshes on the mid-panel and a stacked black rubber midsole. An airy black mesh base appears on the mid-panel and toe allowing for unrestricted airflow throughout the design. Soft black suede covers the toe and lateral panel, while a black nubuck heel cup sit atop an extended midsole. Completing the look of this stealthy sneaker is a black outsole. Well, I’m glad they still sell these. This is all my husband wears. The price can’t be beat! All of the footwear stores want $75.00 or more. This is probably his 100th pair so I guess he loves them! Looks great and lasts long time too. Very comfortable. He wears them to work and hasn’t complained at all.

If you hate shoes but need to "dress-up" a bit. Or, if you need a hard sole for work; you need these shoes. They are WAY easy to slip in and out of and WAY comfortable. They are also WAY too expensive but I haven't found an alternative yet.

I READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING. MOST WERE POSITIVE AND I FOUND THAT WHAT OTHERS SAID WAS TRUE. THERE IS AN ARCH IN THIS SHOE. THERE IS NO ODOR FROM WEARING THIS SHOE. IT IS STYLISH AND LOOKS GOOD WITH SHORTS. I WEAR ALDEN BOOTS. I NEEDED SOMETHING BESIDES ALL MY RUNNING SHOES FOR A CRUISE THAT I AM TAKING THIS MONTH. GREAT SHOE...NO PROBLEMS.

For 40 bucks I didn't think these would be much, but my first take is that they seem well made and are super comfortable. Don't know how they will hold up, but they say they are machine washable, which is a huge plus if they come out of the wash in good shape. Very good packaging, great price and fast delivery. I'm not able to tie laces anymore and slip on shoes are a new must for me so if you're in the same boat, I'd say give them a try.
